Eliminate Female Foeticide & Infanticide - Plan generates awareness on the increasing gender imbalance in the communities it works in 4 states - Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh & Uttaranchal in 49 districts.
Birth Registration - Provides legal proof of the identity of the child and especially unregistered girl children find it more difficult to access the basic rights; reducing trafficking. We cover 6 states – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh.
Right to Healthy Life -The holistic programme addresses needs of adolescent girls like health, physical and mental development and nurtures natural talents.
Eliminating Trafficking - We have working through 450 vigilance group involving 300 Panchayats across 10 districts, in Andhra Pradesh where there is a high prevalence of trafficking. We provide counselling support and rehabilitation, providing residential bridge schools and market linkages for the families to enhance their income opportunities.
Education Support for Girl Child - Balika Shikshan Shivir (Adolescent Girls Camp); these camps are a unique model for mainstreaming girl students into the formal education systems. We run fully residential camps for rural girls who have missed the opportunities of schooling to be mainstreamed to regular schooling. The girls who complete education get an opportunity to work as social workers/teachers; and support to the family income. This initiative is seen as safeguarding girls from early marriages, child-trafficking, child labour and other kinds of exploitation.
Enterprise & Skill Development - Helps girls from poor rural households to :-

• Acquire potential technical skills
• Set up their own small enterprises
• Carry out industrial activities.
• Ensuring their sustainable livelihoods.
• Developing linkages and networking with various corporate sectors like Titan & Tanishq, social and financial institutions.
